1.  What is 'Get Alerts'?
With Rediffmail Mobile you can get alerted by SMS on your mobile phone when you receive emails from senders of your choice. This way you can come to know of important incoming emails when you are offline or not at your desk.

2.  How do I set up 'Get Alerts'?
To set up alerts first send a SMS to IN username password to 7333 e.g. IN vikram 168954 to 7333. This will register your mobile number in our system.

Next, from within your Rediffmail Mobile account, go to 'Get Alerts' page and enter the email addresses you wish to receive an alert from.

3.  How do I discontinue 'Get Alerts'?
If you wish to discontinue any set alerts, you must go to the alerts page on your Rediffmail Mobile account. At the bottom of the page you will find a list of email ID's that you have set an alert for. Against each ID is a checkbox. Select all those email addresses you now wish to discontinue alerts from. After selection click on the Delete button.

If you wish to not delete but switch all your alerts off please click on the 'Switch All alerts off' button.

4.  How much does a 'Get Alert' cost?
An alert costs you one SMS from your Send SMS account.
