What is 'Send SMS'?
You can send SMS right from Rediffmail straight to any mobile phone in India or USA. This is a paid service. You need to first buy SMS.

Does my recipient pay for receiving the SMS I send?
If your recipient resides in India, he does not incur any cost in receiving a SMS in India. However if your recipient resides abroad and his mobile service provider charges for incoming messages, he will be charged at that rate.

Can I send a SMS to more than one person at a time?
Yes, you may send an SMS to multiple recipients by inserting a comma between the numbers. Your account will have SMS deducted in proportion to number of mobile numbers the SMS was sent to and the location of recipients. Each SMS sent to the US is charged at the rate of 3 SMS from your 'Send SMS' account.
